The 6 Most Common Mounts for Concrete Polishers

Diamonds for polishing machines are secured to the machines using different types of mounts, depending on the manufacturer of our machine. For example, with Scanmaskin polishers, we’ll need a “dovetail” mount (due to its shape); whereas on an Airtec polisher, the shape is very different—a “cloud” type. Here are some of the most common mounts for diamond tools used to polish surfaces, depending on the machine you have:

1. Diamonds for the HTC Polisher

These are folded brackets that are slightly wider on one side than the other and attach easily to the polisher.

2. Diamonds for the Scanmaskin Polisher

As we mentioned earlier, its “dovetail” design ensures that the diamond pad grips the polisher securely.

3. Diamonds for Husqvarna Polisher

These plates are very similar to those used in Scanmaskin polishers, but with more rounded corners and a slightly smaller size.

4. Diamonds for the Airtec Polisher

Airtec polishers require a “cloud”-shaped mount like the one shown in the photo.

5. Diamonds for the Diamatic-Norton Polisher

Whether you have a Diamatic polisher or a Norton polisher, the type of mount you’ll need is this trapezoid-shaped one with three threads to securely attach it to your polisher.

6. Diamonds for the Contec Polisher

This is another type of screw-on mount, but with a different design than that of a Norton or Diamatic polisher.

And remember! Make sure you check which mount you need before placing an order. These are just some of the most common mounts for concrete polishers, but if you can’t find a mount that fits your machine, leave us a comment and we’ll help you any way we can!
