At Marathon Diamond, we continue to move forward with a clear goal: to offer tools that are increasingly durable, precise, and tailored to the demands of the professional environment. That’s why we’ve recently incorporated two new laser marking systems for our drill bits, adding innovation to a process where every detail counts.
Until now, technical information on our crowns was provided via adhesive labels. However, heavy use and on-site working conditions caused these labels to deteriorate or peel off over time, making it difficult to identify the product and use it correctly according to its specifications.
With the new laser engraving system, this problem is solved.

What are the benefits of laser marking?
The incorporation of this technology into our drill bits offers clear advantages for professionals:
- Greater durability of technical information:
Laser engraving keeps data legible for much longer, even after prolonged use. Although wear and tear from friction is inevitable, laser engraving lasts much longer than any traditional label. - Improved Traceability and Safe Use:
A properly identified tool allows users to use it more safely and effectively. This results in fewer errors, greater control over performance, and better work planning. - Strengthening Our Commitment to Quality:
This step reinforces our focus on continuous improvement. Every technological advancement, no matter how small it may seem, has a direct impact on the user experience. - Precision technology for professional cutting:
We were already using laser marking on our diamond blades. Now, we’re extending this to our core bits, committing to a consistent quality standard across our entire product line.

Another step toward excellence
At Marathon Diamond, we believe that finish is just as much a part of performance as anything else. That’s why we continue to refine our processes, materials, and technical details. The improvement to our core bit identification system is yet another example of how innovation translates into real value for professionals.
